Employment Opportunity | U.S. Embassy hebrew Media UNIT The U.S. Embassy’s Hebrew Media Unit is seeking a Media Analyst – Hebrew to review, translate, summarize and analyze content from Hebrew-language textual and broadcast sources for use by the US Government.
This position offers excellent compensation, flexible hours and an exciting work environment.
Applicants will be required to take a translation/English test and an analytic test. Office is located in Herzliya Pituach, and operates seven days a week.
Required Desired To Apply
Able to quickly and accurately translate Hebrew textual and audio reports into English Able to write insightful reports and analyses on regional topics of current interest in clear grammatical English Bachelor’s degree or higher Knowledge of current events Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Degree or significant experience in Middle East Studies, Political Science, Communications, Media Studies or related discipline.
Translation experience
Working experience with web publishing, digital video editing, and other multimedia tools Working experience with social networking sites Submit CV and cover letter in English, describing how you meet the qualifications.
